-Life Coaching
for adults, whether students or not, who are ready to get rid of the
chaos and clutter, set goals, and reach them.
What?
1) Time Management – including planning, goal setting, and getting
beyond procrastination
2) Organizing
Workspace and School Papers – desk, files, notebooks, homework,
backpacks, etc.
3) Study
skills – tips and tools to study smarter – not harder
4) Whatever
is important to you so you can reach your goals and be the best you
can be
5) You'll
have a coach and a mentor - someone on your side, who believes you can
do it, and will hold you to the goals you've set for yourself
When?
Appointments available to fit your time schedule. Consistency is paramount,
so appointments at the same time each week are preferred, but since
life sometimes interferes, we can reschedule as necessary.
Why?
Get unstuck, turn in your homework and projects on time, stop losing
your homework, organize using your natural creativity to stay organized,
reduce stress, reduce chaos, get better grades, have fun when you’re
supposed to be having fun – because you know the work is done,
get beyond “the big but,” – “I could be a good
student, but…”, so you can get organized and get going!
How?
You start by making an appointment so we can get to know each other,
and you can decide if coaching is for you. The second appointment is
an intake session, when we determine initial goals and strategies, begin
to identify road blocks, decide on action steps, and ways for you to
best implement them. Ongoing sessions will be a continual process toward
success in school and life. We will review what was accomplished from
the previous session, and if there were roadblocks, understand why and
how to keep them from happening the next time. We will determine what
is important to accomplish in the week to come, determine actions steps
and help you reach your goals. Between sessions, the student and/or
parent can e-mail me with questions or concerns, and send me “I
did it” e-mails as they accomplish different tasks.
